What is Hyperdilute Radiesse?

This refers to the technique of diluting traditional Radiesse filler to an extremely low concentration. Radiesse is an FDA-approved dermal filler that has been used for many years to add volume and stimulate collagen production in areas of the face and hands. Its primary component, calcium hydroxyapatite, is a substance found naturally in bones. When diluted, Radiesse no longer provides volume, but maintains its collagen-stimulating properties to significantly improve the appearance of crepey skin, fine lines and wrinkles and uneven texture.

What Are the Anti-Aging Benefits of Hyperdiltue Radiesse?

Unlike traditional dermal fillers or some aesthetic treatments that may yield temporary results, hyperdilute Radiessse continues to stimulate collagen production, offering sustained improvement for up to 2 years. Also, by enhancing collagen synthesis, hyperdilute Radiesse promotes a natural-looking rejuvenation, smoothing wrinkles and folds over time without creating a “done” appearance. It is a highly versatile product that can be used across various areas of the face, neck and body to address different aesthetic concerns, providing a comprehensive anti-aging solution. It is particularly effective for tech neck lines, which are the horizontal neck lines that many young patients may notice as a result of constantly looking at laptops and phones.

Who is a Candidate for Hyperdiltue Radiesse?

Hyperdilute Radiesse is ideal for most patients looking to address early to moderate signs of the aging process without adding noticeable volume or altering their facial structure. You may be a good candidate for hyperdilute Radiesse treatments if you have concerns such as:

  • Skin laxity
  • Crepey skin
  • Uneven skin texture
  • Reduced elasticity due to aging
  • Tech neck lines
  • Significant weight loss (including massive weight loss or post-weight-loss changes)

This treatment works well across different age groups and is commonly chosen by individuals seeking long-lasting skin rejuvenation, subtle facial rejuvenation, and a more youthful appearance. During your consultation, treatment objectives, skin concerns, and overall skin health will be carefully evaluated to ensure hyperdilute Radiesse is the right fit.

How Does Hyperdiltue Radiesse Work?

Hyperdilute Radiesse works by harnessing the power of calcium hydroxyapatite (also known as calcium hydroxylapatite), a substance that naturally exists in the human body. Traditional Radiesse is a volumizing dermal filler, but when mixed with a saline solution, the product becomes highly diluted and no longer focuses on volume or facial volume enhancement.

Instead, the diluted product acts as a body biostimulatory agent, spreading evenly beneath the skin through carefully placed injection sites. The carrier delivers calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres that stimulate collagen production and elastin production, encouraging natural collagen production over time.

Treatments Areas

Hyperdilute Radiesse can be used across multiple treatment areas to improve laxity, texture, and tone without adding noticeable bulk:

Face

Addresses fine lines, deep wrinkles, facial volume loss, and declining skin elasticity for subtle, natural facial rejuvenation.

Neck

Improves sagging skin, crepey texture, and horizontal lines while supporting skin tightening and smoother skin tone.

Décolletage

Enhances skin texture and radiance in sun-exposed areas prone to thinning and wrinkles.

Hands

Restores skin quality, improves skin thickness, and smooths visible aging without traditional volume restoration.

Upper Arms

Targets crepey skin and laxity, especially after weight loss or natural aging.

Abdomen

Improves laxity and texture related to pregnancy, aging, or significant weight loss.

Thighs & Knees

Smooths uneven texture and tightens loose skin for more youthful contours.

Before Your Hyperdiltue Radiesse Treatment

Prior to your appointment, you’ll have a thorough consultation to review your medical history, previous aesthetic treatments, and any use of medical devices or injectables such as traditional Radiesse or other dermal fillers. Patients are typically advised to avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements for several days to reduce the risk of minor swelling or bruising.

Your provider will assess your skin laxity, elasticity, and overall skin health to determine the appropriate dilution and placement strategy. Because hyperdilute Radiesse is minimally invasive, no extensive preparation is required.

Recovery After Hyperdiltue Radiesse Treatment

Recovery is generally quick and well-tolerated, with minimal downtime. Most patients experience mild swelling, redness, or minor bruising at the injection sites, which typically resolves within a few days. Minimal discomfort is expected, and serious adverse reactions are uncommon when performed by an experienced provider.

Post treatment, patients are usually advised to massage the treated areas as directed and avoid strenuous exercise or excessive heat for 24–48 hours. Results develop gradually as the treatment stimulates collagen and elastin production, leading to improved elasticity, firmer skin, and radiant skin over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Can I Expect During a Hyperdilute Radiesse Treatment?

Your provider will discuss your cosmetic goals, assess your skin condition, and explain the expected outcomes of a hyperdilute Radiesse treatment. The skin will be cleansed, and local anesthetic will be injected into the insertion points to ensure comfort during the procedure. Using a fine cannula, the diluted Radiesse solution is injected into the targeted areas of the skin. The procedure takes around 15-30 minutes to perform depending on how large the treatment area is.

Is there any downtime after Hyperdilute Radiesse?

After the injections, you may experience temporary redness, swelling or bruising at the injection sites. These typically subside within a few days. We recommend avoiding vigorous exercise for the first 24-48 hours after treatment, along with gentle skincare and massage to the treatment area.

When will I see results after a Hyperdilute Radiesse treatment?

Improvements can be seen around 4 weeks after treatment; however, over the following weeks and months, collagen production continues to occur, gradually enhancing skin elasticity and overall rejuvenation.

How should I prepare for a Hyperdilute Radiesse treatment?

We recommend avoiding medications that thin the blood, which can cause more bleeding and bruising. These include Advil, Aleve, Motrin, aspirin, vitamin E, fish oil and many herbs and supplements. If you are someone that bruises easily, you can start taking Arnica the day of the procedure to help minimize the risk of bruising.
