How Does Botox Work?

Botox utilizes a form of botulinum toxin type A that reduces nerve signaling to our facial muscles. This leads to fewer facial movements and smoother wrinkles. It is carefully injected into the appropriate area for maximal efficacy, and the final result takes about two weeks to see. The Haus MD will perform a full consultation, during which you will collaboratively decide which areas to treat.

The amount of Botox we inject for each client varies based on their individual needs, goals, and desired outcomes. After a Botox Procedure

One of Botox’s key advantages is the absence of downtime. This allows you to resume your normal activities immediately after the procedure. Whether you need to head back to work, run errands, or meet up with friends, Botox fits seamlessly into your schedule. However, for at least 4-6 hours post-treatment, it’s advisable to avoid strenuous exercise, bending over, or lying down flat. Additionally, it’s recommended to refrain from touching or massaging the treated areas to prevent the Botox from spreading to unintended muscles.
